灰鹤在西伯利亚繁殖，在我国的南方越冬，寒来暑往，向海就成了灰鹤最重要的停歇地之一 。灰鹤喜大群迁徙，多年来，其迁徙种群数量一直占向海鹤类之首。

Footnote：Common cranes multiply in Siberia and survive the winter in South China．As migrants flying north and south，they find Xianghai the most favorite stops for them．They like to migrate in large groups．Among all the migrating birds stopping here，common cranes are the greatest in number．
